Boulder County commissioners agreed with the county Housing Division staff's recommendations for hiring consultants to conduct studies of the wildlife habitat and the groundwater and other hydrological conditions in the Twin Lakes area of Gunbarrel.
TLAG Chairman, Dave Rechberger implores Boulder County Commissioners to add a ballot measure protecting Open Space from annexation to the November, 2016 ballot. The Commissioners summarily rejected the plan and offered a sobering reminder to residents that the lands they pay to protect as Open Space are in fact managed at the sole discretion of the County Commissioners.
